British Waterways is a pretty range designed by Sarah Payne, reflecting the waterways of Great Britain.  It is easy to imagine Sarah being inspired by walks along tow paths and river banks where wildlife thrives.  From Kingfishers to dragonflies, daisies to water lilies, these fabrics are full of life and colour.  With designs as beautiful and vibrant as these, it is difficult not to be inspired to quilt, make bags, cushions, garments and any other creative items your imagination desires.

These fabulous designs are printed on 100% organic cotton therefore a cotton grown with consideration for the environment.

The fabric is of lovely quality with a light weight and a soft drape, making it ideal for a range of projects including dressmaking, crafts, quilting and small soft furnishings.

We think this fabric would look great as a bag.  If you fancy the idea of turning it into a bag, you could add structure using  or Standard.

Care instructions

Delicate machine wash cold or hand wash, do not wring and avoid a fast spin. Do not bleach. Cool iron if needed. Pre washing recommended.
